Organization Contact: Amit Verma, () SPACE is the most active non-governmental organization working for popularisation of science and astronomy among the masses in India, especially the student community. It is a team of dedicated and eminent Astronomers, Science Communicators & Educators. Through astronomy it aims to spread science and an attitude of rationale questioning and experimentation especially amongst children. We have trained more than 25000 students in astronomy all over India till date. SPACE has been actively involved in encouraging public participation in events like Eclipses, Transits, Occultation and Meteor Showers etc. SPACE’s endeavor is to organise events that raise the importance of science in public consciousness and break myths and superstitions associated with celestial phenomena.
