Copperfield's Books

Copperfield's Books is an independent bookseller with eight stores in Sonoma and Napa counties (California). We are committed to books and the world of ideas and regularly host events that bring authors to readers. For the Year of Science, Copperfield's is running a Science Cafe series featuring authors of newly released science books. Authors for March and April 2009 include: Circumference: Eratosthenes and the Ancient Quest to Measure the Globe by Nicholas Nicastro, Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Sex and Science by Mary Roach, and Out of Our Heads: Why You are Not Your Brain, and Other Lessons from the Biology of Consciousness by Alva Noe. New Science Cafe events will occur throughout the year based on incoming books.
