Conn CAP Pre-Engineering Program at the University of Bridgeport

The ConnCAP Pre-Engineering Program at the University of Bridgeport is a year-round program serving 55 students. The program provides support services to disadvantaged students from the Bridgeport school system in grades 6-12. The program helps selected, qualified participants gain the skills necessary to succeed in high schools, as well as enter post-secondary institution (Colleges or Universities). Qualified students must be enrolled in target schools, meet certain socio-economic guidelines (low-income and/or first generation to attend college) and demonstrate the motivation and potential to go on for a college program. The ConnCAP program is built on the collaborative partnership with students, parents, target schools, administration and the community.
