«Meet the COPUS Network
Ballston Science and Technology AllianceThe Ballston Science and Technology Alliance is a non-profit organization established to serve those engaged in and interested in science and technology, to encourage collaboration, to increase understanding and to engage the public in dialogue about science and technology. Nationally known experts in science move in and out of Arlington every day. BSTA harness these forces to explore and stimulate discussions on current scientific topics in an informative and informal manner. Arlington has the highest concentration of workers in the science and technology in the Washington Metro region, with Ballston as the epicenter of science and technology research(home to NSF and many federal research agencies). BSTA will occupy the first floor of a new office building proposed near the Ballston Metro Station. It will be a gathering place to connect people and ideas in an informal, open caf atmosphere using state-of-the-art cyber-infrastructure to showcase research and development.
