Tom’s current work revolves around the Foldscope, a field-capable, origami-based paper microscope that costs less than $1 in materials. Tom and the Foldscope team are constantly seeking new connections to communities and novel ways to implement the Foldscope in science education, health, citizen science, and everyday curiosity.
